However, I’m pretty sure we’ll get another system that even more infuriating to track.

Beta says you Beta watch out cause he's not done yet!

So with the wsw movement it looks like the gfs predicted it to do so. Now Victoria may be in for a surprise

Much of the radar velocity bins are range folded right now, but in the few that aren’t, I am seeing 85-90mph. If those are reliable, that’s a huge jump from even an hour ago

Looks like Beta might have felt disrespected when the NHC dropped the Hurricane Watches....

What area is that?

The Northern Gulf of Mexico coastal region, in particularly SE Texas to South Alabama. Laura and Sally both affected that area.

What about SW Louisiana - have you seen the pictures of the damage?

SE Texas through South Alabama (is what I meant), sorry if my phrasing was off.

Finally getting a rain band coming through Splendora in SE Montgomery county. After all the high temps, the rain and cool temps forced me to put on some jeans. Will we get killed with 100°temps after this moves through?

...RECONNAISSANCE AIRCRAFT AND RADAR DATA INDICATE THAT BETA HAS REDEVELOPED A LITTLE FARTHER TO THE WEST...

Location: 27.6°N 93.6°W
Moving: WNW at 5 mph
Min pressure: 996 mb

Center jumped under the radar feature it seems according to recon. If this continues we may get a brief hurricane Beta but we’ll see.

Hints of an eye getting ready to clear on visible now. Will this continue?
