I'm thinking Virac took the real brunt of the storm. So we have to wait a few days for official information (if available) to confirm that. Naga and the areas south of Manila should expect strong Cat.4 conditions here on out.

Topology suggest heck is going on there in Iriga City, winds and water going down that volcano.

looks like it ain't even at the dead center when the reading was recorded.

The JTWC at 947 is too high as well. At 0z it was still probably packing 935-940 mb

I've been busy the last couple days but I estimate the peak intensity to be 180 kt based on its appearance. Imagine if we had Recon though?
