That'll change once the squalls are stripped away tonight and the low-level swirl will move west with the low-level flow.

There isn't much rain out front. I have to go to work tomorrow, but I'm hoping we get a burst as it passes to our south. Circulation is beginning to show up on long range. Doesn't look like much, but that's expected for this time of night.

Levi Cowan was talking about that. The low level center moving west and dry while all of the convection gets thrust to the NE. Question was does this happen BEFORE landfall or AFTER.

How come convection is firing off towards the NE?

It sure looks like it's decoupling. Will we see a center reformation to the NE under the heavy convection/MLC? It doesn't seem possible for it to hit those forecast points so far west.Image

He might not bother turning...can't be bothered to act like a normal shredding system.

It's 2020.

But still one of the most amazing satellite loops I've seen in the past decade.

Marco looks to be shrinking fast. I’d be surprised if it gets as far west as the nhc predicts

Getting some heavy rain here in the Florida Panhandle! I suspect Pensacola to the East will have the Highest rain totals with Marco. Particularly since the cyclone is now decoupling.

Looks like to me a low level swirl came out this evening well to the SW of Marco. Shows up well on shortwave IR.

Looks like the MLC and most of the convection is going to get thrown into our area in the western Florida panhandle.
