Would it be possible that they would land there for fuel, to head back out and sample the storm, considering the AF plane turned around and went back?

Multiple velocity bins in se quad of the outer eyewall above 130mph now. While these don’t translate to the surface at face value, they do indicate strengthening. I don’t think that’s very common in the middle of an EWRC. That inner eyewall is toast in a couple hours

I’m in Tamarac. Looks like the tornado warned cell will pass to my SW.

Lots of FL511 Video Cameras are down in the Tornado-warned area, but the photos are still going.

Take any of my forecasts with a grain of salt, refer to the NWS, SPC, and NHC for official information
Never say Never with weather! Because ANYTHING is possible!

How’s Bradenton looking with these tracks?
Looks a lot better than having 12-18 ft of water into Tampa Bay. Water will be blown out of Tampa Bay after landfall. Might get 7-10" of rain and moderate TS winds, but Ft. Myers won't be so lucky unless Ian can slip to their south.
I see the NHC moved their track over to mine, too.
