My gauge is at 4.53 since midnite and pouring, 2.99 yesterday so we are going over 8 storm total. The storm delivered on the rainfall front.

Not sure how much we’ve officially received in Homestead, but it was a light, steady rain all day yesterday. The rain got heavier in the evening and it has just rained all night long. We have some minor street flooding in the neighborhood, though we get that with the heavy summer thunderstorms too. I definitely feel this mess delivered on what was predicted — lots of rain.

Looks like you have had 6-7. farther east and NE have been maximized, more on the way. It's pouring here, 5.74 since midnite and still coming down hard.

Impressive rainfall totals in extreme eastern Dade and Broward Counties. Parts of Collier County also, most models nailed it at least on this part.
More heavy rains this morning but looks like might miss southern Dade County.

Still a broad low with several eddies rotating around it.

I wouldn't be surprised if PTC1 never gets a name, but showing the importance of having the "PTC" designation with tropical storm like impacts occurring in South Florida.

My posts are my own personal opinion, defer to the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and other NOAA products for decision making during hurricane season.

Lost power here in Parkland which is surprising because our grid is pretty robust

East central Florida here, just lots of steady rain. Welcome to the 2022 hurricane season though :double:

Seems like Gfs more had a win with this one. It didn't enter the Bay of Campeche like other models expected. It's more sloppy and east like the gfs had it

One thing is for sure… Mother Nature always makes up for itself. Any deficit that we had in the water table has been replenished. Nothing like a good tropical system to be a drought buster.

Still is a mess in terms of vortices moving around the broad circulation. A new low may be forming off the east coast of Florida but recon will confirm that.

On a wide view radar the reformation does look to be taking place on the east coast ( near Palm Beach)
