12z GFS run very unfriendly to the Açores.

Both 12z HWRF and HMON have this becoming a TS in the next 36 hours and a hurricane a couple days later

GFS (18z) shows a decent intensification the coming 48 - 72 hours for this latitude I guess. Saturday at 8 AM CEST (2 AM EDT) the MSLP would already drop below 1000 mb with sustained winds around 45 mph. Interested in whether this could impact Europe (maybe also indirectly).

At +102 hours (Sunday, September 4th at 8 PM EDT) already sustained winds of 120 kmh/75 mph/65 kt. Might become the first hurricane of the 2022 Atlantic season, as the other system will have slighly lower wind speeds according to GFS (18z).

0z HWRF and HMON both have this becoming a hurricane on Friday, seems pretty reasonable to me. Probably will be the first cane of the season
