The cyclone produced sheared, but quite deep and sustained convection N of the center during the afternoon hours, which qiuckly dissipated in the early evening. The center finally made landfall in Cyprus, near Paphos around 21 UTC, but the pressure dropped to only 1010 hPa.

In unofficial circles, this storm has been referred to as "Jon" since the afternoon of the 16th. It appears to be post-tropical or a remnant low at this time.

Someone keeps calling it subtropical and asks me why it is tropical, since it appears as shallow warm core in the diagrams phase. I believe it appears "shallow" because it is a shallow and low intensity system, but not because it is subtropical. On the 17th the convection was center-aligned for a few hours, like a tropical depression/storm. On 19 the strong shear displaced the convection from the center, but the system still looked like any sheared tropical depression/storm:

I also think it was tropical, by my preliminary estimate (see below) from ~06 UTC 17th to ~00 UTC 20th (and it was subtropical before that, from 12 UTC 16th, when the convection still was displaced from the center and storngest winds also occurred farther). The core indeed was quite shallow, but mainly due to the shear and dry air which didn't supported more organization of the convection.
(I had already named the cyclone to Ciprian before AJC3 linked the other name, but I think it is better because refers to Cyprus + Medicane so I left it. )

While the UKMET agency denoted this as "Tropical Storm 01M" in their bulletin which you originally posted, AFAIK no official agency (such as HNMS, ESTOFEX, DWD, etc.) has ever called it Jon. Only the unofficial @TropensturmDE page has, though there may be others.

It may be because the agencies which normally apply storm names thought the intensity never rose to 35kt, and/or they deemed it Subtropical Depression rather than Tropical, but I am only guessing here.

This is why in the thread title, I kept it as officially "Unnamed" with the unofficial name in parentheses. This is the format I have used for all Medicane threads.
