Band along 28N is strengthening and will come onshore during the morning.
This looks to be a prolonged possible tornado event.

Wind gradient is pretty flat. Just north of Orlando (Longwood) and it's now been over 20 minutes since getting gusts to Tropical Storm strength.

Hopefully the Daytona Beach coastline will escape without too much more damage from this one more concerning high tide coming up now. Anyone hear of any overnight reports about any further coastal damage caused by the water undermining of structures up there?

Getting good 35-45 MPH winds and gusts here in Pinellas County now, they just shut down the Skyway bridge.

My fool neighbor put out his recycling and now it's spreading down the street.

Wind is absolutely howling in Putnam county. Rain coming in sideways. Power has gone in & out 5 times now. We are currently under a tornado watch as well. Luckily work was cancelled so I can keep the babies under my wing.

I am by no means a professional. DO NOT look at my forecasts for official information or make decisions based on what I post.

Goal: to become a registered expert over tropical and subtropical cyclones.

Lol! Well my highest gust was 27 mph at the house I did report 2.73 of rainfall this morning. Not much punch as expected to the south of the center but areas up north I guess near the coast did see some TS winds. Have not seen any reports of sustain hurricane force yet. Hopefully not too much damage and power gets restored quickly. This entire year was just odd but oh well no back to preparing for the holidays!

Can confirm "dicey" as winds are currently gusting to TS Strength.
Strongest bands do appear to be south of us in the Palm Coast area.
May take a storm day and not commute in to work.

I had a couple of gusts over 30, 3.94 storm total, and part of the Lauderdale by the Sea pier is missing.

Overcast and blustery here in Tallahassee currently. In town, winds are forecast to peak around 30 mph. East of here 45 - 50 mph. Either way I have a good chance of losing power due to the number to trees over power lines here.

Lights going in and out in Largo/Seminole. This is worse than what Ian brought this area for sure. Squally weather.
