A low pressure system is currently present over the South West Indian Ocean.

A suspicious area is also present, and there is a risk of formation of another moderate tropical storm for the next 5 days.

System Information:

- The strong tropical storm DINGANI is located about 1400 km east-northeast of Rodrigues. It has started a gradual turn to the southwest and should continue to intensify this Sunday. It should reach the tropical cyclone stage in the next 24 hours.

- At the beginning of next week, DINGANI should weaken and probably continue to move towards the southwest. The current preferred scenario has a weakened system pass quite far to the south-east of the Mascarenes. Looks like it's been sheared apart into a remnant low, with no convection within about 60-100 miles of the weak swirl marking the center.
