Kermit is coming in from the ENE, so remember they are not likely sampling the strongest winds on this pass.

In regards to a question about this transitioning to an annular hurricane: near zero chance.

They're consistently moving the expected landfall time farther and farther back
It used to be 2 PM Wednesday and now it's 2 AM Thursday.

Do not take anything I say seriously as a form of meteorological prediction. I am not a meteorologist; I don't think being in law school translates to any special knowledge. I am just a somewhat bullish amateur watcher.

I’m going with the very lowest 900s with evidence of an outer eyewall.
Think 889

Right about now, that pilot is wishing he hadn't just eaten that cold whopper that he picked up at Burger King before the flight
No need for a diaper though. I am sure he is at max pucker factor.

As others have said, wouldn't be shocked to see it down in the 890s...
KWT! Missed ya man! Where the heck ya been over the last few years?

Time for the big pass. Has it weakened or intensified?

I think the chances of this NOT being retired went out the window the second this thing upped into Cat 5 territory period, let alone Haiyan/Patricia levels of terror. I think at the very best case scenario this thing drops to a high-end Cat 4, which, after an EWRC (which doesn't seem to be hindering it much at all), will likely be worse than Katrina, unless conditions just absolutely sh*t the bed.
