I am tired of the red, then orange, and now yellow covering up Beryl. Be gone!

Funny enough, there's like only 5-10 knots of deep layer shear over this system

Safe to say though, I think Beryl's major overperformance created a pretty unfavorable environment in its wake for this thing to really blow up otherwise

Unless explicitly stated, all info in my posts is based on my own opinions and observations. Tropical storms and hurricanes can be extremely dangerous. Do not think you can beat Mother Nature. Refer to an accredited weather research agency or meteorologist if you need to make serious decisions regarding an approaching storm.

Development chances should be higher with current model support... EURO, GFS, and CMC have this thing closing off.

This morning we got heavy showers, accompanied by tropical-storm-force gusts in some instances, in many parts of Barbados. We're currently under a flash-flood warning but that may soon be discontinued as the rains have abated. Recent satellite imagery shows most of the convection is now west of us.

96l is rolling in to the Caribbean, looks to have decent convective activity and lightning. On the Barbados weather radar you can see the movement, alas I cant capture the radar well but i've added a link
