This will be the last warning by Meteo France.

MODERATE TROPICAL STORM number 7

(ELEANOR)

Maximum winds (averaged over 10 minutes) estimated at sea: 65 km/h.

Maximum gusts estimated at sea: 95 km/h.

Estimated pressure at center: 996 hPa.

Position on February 23 at 10 p.m. local: 23.9 South / 58.2 East.

- ELEANOR is currently starting a turn towards the west then tomorrow morning, the system will move more clearly to the west-northwest.

- on its route ELEANOR will endure environmental conditions on its route that have a very significant impact on its integrity, and should logically continue to weaken sustainably while transiting quite far, to the south of Reunion this weekend, without any particular influence on the local weather conditions.

- Subsequently, the residual depression ELEANOR will continue its trajectory towards the Big Island, while gradually dissipating, before dying along the Malagasy east coast, not far from its birth zone.
