Happy news from the VB household!!

There are smiles :D :D :D :D all around at my house today. My son proposed to his girlfriend of 4 years today and she accepted. We have grown to know and love Susan(Heidi) as one of our own and this just makes it official. She is the best thing that has ever happened to our son. She still has a year of college left and there will not be anything done till then, but Jimmy wanted to make it official now. Anyway, I had to share the good news with my second family. :D :D :D :D :D :D

Well...that is GREAT news! A much happier story line than the last one we had! Congratulations to the new couple and you as well!

The fact that plans revolve around that year of college does not go unnoticed either. I like to see that.

Our youngest son's girlfriend just graduated from San Diego State this summer with a degree in Criminal Justice. Hopefully it will help keep him in line!

Keep us posted on how things progress with Jimmy and Susan(Heidi).
