Still a lot of season left.... but I agree, if we get to 9/1 at 9/3/2 we will be a full 3 storms behind 1933 & 1995.

That would be 5/5/1 from here on out. With the weak stroms in Nov and Dec. I can't see 5 storms all reaching hurricane strength, bu I respect a man sticking to his guns.

WAY too premature to start lowering projections. Just b/c we've had a slow two weeks (with 2 storms mind you) doesn't mean the whole season is a bust.

The very first sentence of your "forecast" was as follows:

"This is not a forecast"

Now you call it a forecast. So which is it??

Look, I'm not trying to be too nit-picky or a word smith here (even though I do have an English degree :wink: ) but what really irks me is the blatant inconsistencies. You constantly say one thing and then contradict it in the very next sentence or paragraph.

I won't use the "t" word but I am highly suspicious of your motives, and frankly it's getting old.
