Heh...didn't mean to offend the Californians. I wouldn't be out here if I didn't like it. IMO, the Bay Area is "hella jacked." :wink:

Pretty good hit for a junky storm! Up here in N Fl we lost power the first hour of the storm and didnt get it back for a week. Not doubting how it looked but being on the recieving end, it went on for days.

Since I'm from SoCal, I'd have to agree wholeheartedly on your bay area comment!!!

Everyone else,

Thanks for the continued updates on the situation including the levees. Is this nightmare over for NOLA or is there a chance the levees may overflow or fail?

i was a bit suprised by the drastic NHC downgrade from 125 to 105, i would have let this goin as cat3 til the next advisory
