uhhhhhhhh
I think I'll leave it running while I lay in bed.
Everytime I go to turn off they talk about something good.
The New Orleans area code is 504, but I wouldn't dare call them. The phones are all down anyway. I haven't been able to contact anyone on cellular down there. Unless they have some Baton Rouge lines available which is 225.
Good night... I'll listen until I fall asleep.

Have not read your post yet, but hubbie and I heard about the rapes on CNN earlier. WTF??? And they actually are saying NOPD and nat guard are handling this??????NO WAY!!! They need to claim martial law and get active duty in there with weapons and constatina wire to put the heathens.

I agree with MB... this is a situation that is beyond the ability of the local government to handle.
Hell at this point I would be happy to see a Battallion. or even a company of army soldiers. And as for the rapist......someone needs to bring themselves the biggest MAG lite they have in stock!!!!! And I don't need to tell anyone where it needs to be roughly placed.

95 MPs isnt enough to guard 500 busses worth of potential rioters. Id want two per bus, plus escort vehicles. A bradly or an M1 would really scare these people into behaving. We are seeing reports, some more trustworthy than others, of police being attacked(many reports), deserting(at least 2 reports of that, one rather credible) looting themselves(numerous reports), a renagade bus being taken and driven to houston(credible) on its own without any troops on it... a soldier getting shot, people being very hostile inside the dome.
This is a job for the army.
