Please remember her and her entire family in your prayers. They will all have to start over from scratch and it will be a long, hard, emotional road. I just thank God they are alive!

First of all, as has been said in another thread, Mary (MSRobi911) is ok and her family is ok. Unfortunately, she lost her home. She lived one street over from the GOM in Pascagoula and her house was literally washed away. There is nothing left.
To make things worse, her husband's parents lost their home as well, and his 8 siblings. They are staying at her parent's house north of Pascagoula in Moss Point. They have no electricity but someone brought them a generator yesterday so they finally got to sleep with a little A/C last night. She has been in contact with me and CajunMama a few times but it's hard to get a signal out. I have unable to call her.
Please remember her and her entire family in your prayers. They will all have to start over from scratch and it will be a long, hard, emotional road. I just thank God they are alive!

Mary called me this morning. I was never so thrilled to hear that Mississippi twang in my life. She sounded really good but said little things get her upset. Like last night she started thinking about her rocking chair. Her husband is a deputy sheriff and has been putting in many hours. Pray for him also because he'll be seeing things we couldn't even imagine.

SG... So glad you passed on this info. I have a quick question, did her husbands parents loose their home and 8 siblings, or did the 8 siblings loose their homes??? I am praying it was the latter!
Please tell her if you speak with her again I am praying the Lord would give her supernatural strength right now.

Hey folks!
Thanks, we are fine. We got power this afternoon thank the good Lord! My mom lives right off Main Street in downtown Moss Point so she is on the same grid with them. I'll be OK, the Good Lord won't give me more than I can handle. There are folks out there that lost loved ones and their own lives so I have no room to complain about material things.
My rocking chair that my husband gave me for our first Christmas and that I rocked my two babies in is gone, but hey my two babies are safe...one of them is 21 and at Ole MS and the other is 18 and is here because his college is currently housing out of state police officers for the Harrison/Hancock County areas. Maybe we can go to the "house" tomorrow and look under rubble and see if we can find anything. Robi has been working till after 9:00pm every night so haven't had a chance to go see. On Tuesday they gas main was still pumping gas which was absolutely stupid, but he plugged it up and they should have cut the gas off by now. What ever stuff would be ours is burried under piles of wood from the houses in front of me so I think we will probably have to wait until a backhoe or bulldozer comes in and pushes it off. Then there probably won't be anything worth saving....heck..who knows.
But thanks for the prayers!! Continue to pray for use, we all need it!

Hey Ms. Robi, I am so glad to hear that you are ok. My grandmother got power back today, she is in Moss Point as well right behind the old woolen mill. (or whatever they call it now) She was sure relieved and said the her old body simply can't take the heat like it used to. lOl. So glad to here you are safe and sound. So many along the beach were devastated. I was in Moss Point yesterday bringing supplies to my family so I saw the damage in chaos first hand. I am praying for all of you and Know yall will keep on keeping on.
