if it packs Katrina storm surge then what could will be Houston's new orleans

Another interesting article from that site:

If Rita does end up taking aim at Houston/Galveston area we'd be in a situation again concerning what to do about those who are poor/old/sick. According to that article 20-25,000 in Galveston County alone w/o transportation (not sure about Harris County). Hopefully the local Emergency officials are brainstorming up a plan to get the old/poor/sick out of the area if needed be in the next few days.

I have no worries for the wonderful state of TX as I am sure they are already preparing for the possibility of a visit from Rita.

After all, we are talking about TEXAS! :wink:

p.s. I LOVE TX, have many friends throughout the whole state, and many great memories of living there 2 years.
