I don't know about you folks but scares the crap out of me..

Didn’t know Dr. Gray was a professor of Economics and a soothsayer. Dr. Gray is a preeminent scholar when it comes to tropical cyclones but his record is as good as going to your local physic when it comes to predicting Hurricanes. I mean he actually adjusts his forecasts DURING the season. Jeez I could do that also. Here is a shot. We will have 2 more tropical cyclones this year but we could have as many as 4 with 1 being a major. We have a 10 trillion dollar economy and even with another 50 billion in damage that's still what .5 percent of the nations GDP. Stick to cyclones Doc and leave the negativism to the mainstream press.

Member for 3 days and a whopping 4 posts and you are going to rip the most respected hurricane forecaster in the history of meteorology. My guess is that with regard to hurricanes, you couldn't find your own backside with a map, flash light and both hands.

Dr. Gray is the most respected and trusted hurricane expert in the world. Seems pretty negative on your part to add your unqualified commentary to his realistic expectations for this storm.
