She still looks to be on her NW path on radar...perhaps a westward wobble?

Almost looks like a N wobble but its tough to tell. Joe B still says Galveston. Impact weather says HighIsland. I bet it will wobble more W again. Also watching the rainshield approach the Upper TX Coast.

Either JB or the NHC are going to be a 100+ miles off. I'll take NHC everyday of the week and twice on Friday Sept. 23.

That was a big wobble to the North.
We make fun of the wobbles when the storms are so far out, but the become increasingly more significant as we close in on landfall. Especially for Galveston.

I see a N wobble also. Wobble Wobble, Drop it Drop it, Shake It Shake It.

It simply won't be mentioned again most likely. And in a week or two, he'll be back to eye-rolling and making disparaging comments.
Of course, if he's right, we'll never hear the end of it - even though the NHC has had Galveston in the cone for days.

There is still a general NW motion. Watch as the western eyewall disappears off to the west of the New Orleans radar .
