Could this be the beginning of the CMC model runs from earlier in the week where a system ran counterclockwise all around the perimeter of the GoM? I think there were a couple of other models that hinted at the same thing. It's genesis appeared to be closer to SW FL on the CMC but if this is it, how wild would that be!!!

Lynn

This one definitely has me more concerned than Tammy even if it is a MLC right now. We know how quickly things can change in the tropics. It's proximity to SW FL would give us virtually no time to prepare should this thing bomb.

It will be interesting to see what happens when that mid level circulation(over the Yuk) moves into the stronger convection this afternoon. That's usually what it takes and it should stack up fairly quickly after that.

Another TD (and more by tomorrow i fear) on the way.
