Alpha?

#1 Postby wxwatcher91 » Fri Oct 07, 2005 7:42 am

well only two more to go and the third is then Alpha.

it was looking like Alpha was possible in the week even for a while with 93L and 94L possibly being the Vince and Wilma we were waiting for, but as the shear builds, it appears the two waves may not get to be much more than that: waves.

in any case activity will continue on and Vince and Wilma will most likely arrive sometime this month (JMO) and will we likely see at least one greek storm this season (JMO).

I havent entered an opinion in the poll yet but for those who are going to share their thoughts, the question is WHEN will we see Alpha?

I think I'm going to go with late October to early November...

based on weighting each option by its amount of votes currently the consensus is mid November...

I said late November....I just hope we get to it to break the record. Hopefully they'll all stay out to sea though.

As much as I wish it would occur, I voted no.

We're gonna start seeing subtropical storms here soon, anyway.

I got to say it's surprising that so many people think there won't be at least 3 more tropical storms in the season... with all these invests prowling around, including one that appeared today.

*prepares a crow buffet for whoever is wrong*

I think even if we had gone through all the names as of now, people would be saying "No Alpha" and even if we were at the N or O name, people would be asking if we would get to Alpha.
