2005: arlene, dennis, katrina, wilma, rita (hard impacts)
No major hits on Tampa Bay, I've been really lucky these
past 2 years
lol, i wish they were spread out across the state, instead of hammering particular areas
officially Rita never hit Florida but it did cause impacts, Arlene and Dennis were right on the MS and FL Panhandle border
Katrina and Wilma were the worst hits for Florida and actually were hits.
actually arlene hit pensacola directly, and dennis hit just east of the greater pensacola area, so they were direct hits for florida, ivan hit gulf shores , but the eastern eye wall hit pensacola , and pensacola is in florida i assure you![]()
and its the alabama florida border, mississppi does not touch florida
oh yeah I meant to say Alabama not MS. I wasn't sure about Arlene and Dennis because I never examined the track because I was on a two month vacation. Whats eerie for me is that I came back by August 22nd after leaving on July 1st. I thought the season was coming to a slow after I checked to see the incredible activity that happened while I was gone. Then came Katrina, Rita, Wilma.
