A rapidly strengthening Noreaster starting by dumping rain in my area, but during the day temps dropped and it turned to snow, the rain froze and turned the roads into a glazed donut, on my street and several surrounding streets the township never bothered to salt and as you could imagine that was quite fun

I remember this storm very well. It was probably the worse storm that occurred in my area last year. There was ice build up of between 0.5 and one Inch on every surface. It knocked out the power for 15 and ½ hours, just as the high winds (up to 50 mph in gusts) and bitter cold temps came in behind the system. It got so cold in my house that my family had to wear there outside winter wear inside for the last six hours, you could nearly see your breath by the end.
