I live just north of downtown KC...right around the county border of SE Platte and SW Clay county. We got the hail core, but before it really started coming down, I saw the outside edges of, what looked like a wall cloud, to my immediate south. This is probably the area, as it was tracking off the NE, that was regenerating the wall cloud and formed the funnel cloud.
And from the looks of it, we in KC, are probably no where near all clear for the day. Gotta keep an eye on Eastern Kansas development....
