30LBS I currently at 220 and that's the highest I have ever been. I have always been skinny but, I tried to quit smoking about 11 months ago and was sucessful for about 4 or 5 months but, I put on 20-30 lbs. then i started smoking again. I am afraid to try again anway I think i ma going to work out and get in shape so then I have a good fitness regiment going while I quit.

my girfriends dad lost about 280 lbs with that gastric bypass surgery. It was amazing to see him loose all that weight. Now he weighs less than me...

I will not do the gastric bypass surgery. I might look into the lap band surgery where they place a band around the stomach to make it smaller. A friend of ours used that and is now literally 1/3 of her former self.

well for your situation your are not the point where you can't loose it no matter what. He was well over 400 lbs. Do whatever is most comfortable for you to do because your the one that has to live with it no matter what anyone else says...
