Whenever I go to Bourbon, I usually park in this parking garage on Rampart. You have to walk a few blocks, but I rather that than trying to part in the quarter.

Yeah, parking in the Quarter can be a headache. I do like to try to get into the garage at the Royal Sonesta when I can. There are sevearl lots in the area, though.

There are also lots along the river/Decatur/N. Peters, a parking garage at the foot of Canal Street in Canal Place, and sometimes you can grab a spot along Esplanade.

There's also a number of lots off Rampart.

I have working in the area a lot since the storms and it has been much easier to park since not as many people are in the area.....it also feels a lot safer

I usually park in the parking lot at the Monteleone Hotel... it's not far, maybe 2 blocks or so, but it does cost a few bucks. Parking in the quarter is not easy to find, but I feel safer with my car in an established, and protected parking lot. There are several in the area.

Yeah put me down as a "maybe" as well. Not sure what my schedule is like during that time.

Also, there's a little known lot about a block from the cathedral on Cartres St... downtown side. I always park there. It's pretty much unmarked, but it is a pay lot... when the attendant is there :wink: , which is rare.
