I positively MUST have a cup of Java in the AM... usually a quite large one. When it's brewed at the schools it's Community, My mom and dad would settle for nothing less than French Market Coffee and Chickory... I liked that too; but don't have time to brew in the house, so when I'm not heading for a place where I can get a fresh brew, I have to settle for Medium Roast...Taster's Choice freeze dried.. I know... not the same as fresh brew--but it gets me started in th mornings till I can get to the REAL stuff!

Black Coffee!!! Yummy!!! No cream, no sugar, can drink it all day long, sometimes have a cup before bed (no decaf for me)and sleep like a baby...been drinking coffee black since I was about 6 months old (long story). Best coffee is Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks burns their beans twice and it tastes like it, Epsteins smells like old laundry. For other good coffee Folgers is next, then Maxwell House, Eight O'Clock.
Can't drink Cappucino or latte as they have milk, so can't rate that.
Drink hot tea when I'm sick with a little sugar, but yes I'm a coffee girl!

Amazing how, for a while, they were scaring people with all the caffeine hype; and now studies show some pretty impressive benefits to a couple of cups of coffee a day. The most pronounced are the benefits for the liver... up to 80% reduction in chance of getting cirrhosis.

LOL, That is exactly what the news not-so-subtly hinted at, inasmuch as it said it "countered" potential liver damage consequent to "some" habits... It might also be a good thing for folks taking Tylenol or other "liver" damaging drugs (if taken long enough).
