Goodbye Rolling Rock

#1 Postby coriolis » Mon Jul 31, 2006 11:38 am

It's a sad day indeed. My favorite Beer was bought out by the evil Anheuser-Bush who will move the production from Latrobe Pa to New Jersey, and probably kill it off eventually. You just can't replicate the mountain spring water and glass lined tanks at the old Latrobe facility.

First Stoneys and now Rolling Rock. At least theyre's still Yuengling and Straub beer. You'll never catch me drinking a Budweiser.

Ed during my drinking days I drank plenty of Rolling Rock in Carbondale. And I mean plenty  Its a shame this is happening; no doubt this will be a blow to the Latrobe economy as well.

Nooooo.....it's one of my favorite beers as well!

We have a dart board with the Rolling Rock logo on it in the basement. Friends joke we need to serve RR to go with it. Which isn't anything unusual for us anyway.

Dang it!
