Hurricane JOHN: Cabo san Lucas threat

#1 Postby rockst0ne » Wed Aug 30, 2006 12:11 pm

Hi all,

I have friends vacationing in Cabo until tuesday. any thoughts on track and if NHC forecasts?? if they are correct, a near CAT 5 sideswipe or landfall could be as early as Fri morn. NHC even makes mention of the GFDL going up the Sea of Cortez/Gulf of California. Not lookin good.

if anyone has any links to evac plans for that area it would be appreciated.
