Tomorrow it's supposed to be a TOASTY 49 degrees here and we may briefly see snow fall to the valley floor in the morning.

I'm HATES to rub this in BUT....it's cool AGAIN this evening 8-) No fire just yet BUT I do have a sweatshirt on! BTW....the high today you ask? 62° with cloudy conditions AND a wind advisory thanks to the low pressure system in Colorado responsible for dumping FEET of snow across the state 8-)

That's still not cold IMO. But then again, I have to giggle at the Texas-born folks down here who bundle up for anything below 70°.

A high of 53 and a low in the lower 20s with stiff winds and clouds is cold to me! Especially for September.

Well come on up AFLAC 8-) I'll buy the ice cold MGD and make a pitcher of frozen margaritas, sit outside after the sun goes down and MAYBE you'll think it's cold :ggreen:

Seriously, 20° at night with a N-NE breeze of 10-14 mph....figure out the windchill and then let's see who's not cold....and as it's been said, for September, it's downright CHILLY 8-)

I said 53° wasn't cold...didn't say anything about 20°. Besides, I'd more or less be coming "over" than "up." You're barely that much more to the north. Remember, I haven't been a Texan all my life (although I think I always was in my heart). I've had my share of blizzards, ice storms, and early frosts. I know cold. :)

For September, the 50s is pretty cold (we had 3 of 4 days with highs in the 50s). However, it still doesn't feel cold out there unless it's windy. Comparatively, it's cold. In reality, and not comparatively, it's not.

We are expected to dip into the lower to middle 50s in north Houston tonight. Those type of numbers are going to feel very chilly for this area considering it is only late September!

This morning, it was 55*F here in Irving, yet I can still wear shorts at that time.
