Area over Deep S Texas

Area over S Texas associated with the cold front looks better than anything in the tropics right now.

Brownsivlle radar showing north moving small storms east of the site offshore while west of the site the front is still sagging south. SV loops indicate some energy north of the city moving from east to west.

Everything that looked like it might form in the Gulf this year has fizzled. This one should too - HOWEVER, if you look at the surface flow in the GOM it looks more normal like the recurving trade winds from the tropics. I'm not sure if this is moving far enough east to get out into the Gulf, but I'm watching it because conditions might snap on favorable. You never know.

Uh oh.

Appears things are getting a little interesting in the BOC. Pressures are low in that area, possible surface trough developing?

Never know what those clouds do at this time of the year. We should keep an eye on it, especially tomorrow.

I guess it should be noted that IF and I must say a big gigantic IF something should form, It would likely move NEward towards Fla due to the front to the west. Its unlikely that anything will form and I doubt it will but that would probably be the track.
