I don't understand why Mike's phone number on Orson's wife's arm is important. Brent - can you explain it? As in a For Dummies: Desperate Housewives help kinda way? LOL I get bogged down by these minor, but very important details.

Yeah, what Gabby did was really the point of no return IMO. Very despicable. I'm very interested to see how such a dramatic turnaround happens next week.

About Mike's phone number, I don't know, but I first saw a spoiler about it over a month ago, so it wasn't surprising to me. Next week Carolyn(Laurie Metcalf)'s husband gets interviewed by the police about something related to it, but beyond that I dunno. I wonder though if someone close to Orson committed suicide? Maybe Alma or this other woman Monique? Maybe that somehow ties back to him trying to kill Mike? He sure got upset when Andrew was joking about Danielle's attempt.

I was just reading the IMDB DH board. A topic/fan there questioned if Orson is somehow related to Mary Alice. The fan stated all the facts as we know them, Mike is Zach's bio father, but Mary Alice "adopted" him, etc. Perhaps this is the suicide Orson is referring to - Mary Alice's. Only flaw in that scenario is she was murdered, by Paul, correct? So many details, from Season 1 that are very important.

Mary Alice committed suicide in the Pilot(the women trying to solve why did she it was the big mystery in Season 1). Paul killed Mrs. Huber(the nosy neighbor who found out about Zach). Deidre, Zach's mom was killed by as it turned out Mary Alice(Mike thought it was Paul all along) until Paul told him the story in the desert in Season 1's finale. She was the body in the toy chest. That's an interesting theory.

Oh and about next week... apparently the scene between Edie and Mike that Susan walks in on(seen in the previews) is so steamy ABC had to make major edits, and it's still pretty steamy. I think the censors went nuts.

Here's the preview.

I love snarky Andrew:

"Don't rush, she's not trying that hard"

"She tried to slit her wrist with a spoon!" (Only on DH does someone try to kill themself with a spoon  )

"The wounds are fairly superfical... so is the patient"

"Yeah, next time she might jump off the porch"

:roflmao:

Yeah, Andrew has annoyed me in past seasons, but he's cracking me up this year. I liked the porch comment the best. I mentioned how much air time Edie is having. The same could be said for Danielle - for a while there, it seemed as if Bree had one child - Andrew. Aside from the romance with the Applewhite's son, Danielle has been kinda boring most of the time. You wonder if the writers are saying - now here's a rarely used character, let's give them something. Edie's makes sense, Danielle seems forced to me. I know Bree lives in this fantasy, perfect world, so having two messed up teenagers seems logical, but I am finding Danielle more annoying than Andrew ever was.

Mary, maybe it's because we have girls, but I find Danielle very annoying too.
The old Bree that we all know and "love" is back. This is the Bree that is interesting because of the perfection thing. I hope they don't change her character again. She is much more funny when she is in complete control. Carlos and Gabby are hilarious. Tom is such a whimp. Why oh why do I like Orson and feel sorry for him.

Yeah why do you like Orson? LOL That's okay if you like him.....I'll let ya! I was just beginning to like Ian and ask myself, Mike who? LOL At this point let Edie have Mike. But then why sick her on him, he is recovering from a coma. Watch Susan begin dating Ian and Mike suddenly remember what she meant to him. I could almost write that script....I've watched a few soaps in my day and that is classic-classic soap material. Coming out of a coma, with amnesia!

I think you're right, we can see thru Danielle a mile away. Growing up in a well to do family and she's boinking the history prof? Guess she has daddy issues? Oh listen to me, I sound nasty today.....

One more Bree question - did she receive a large inheritance from Rex, separate from the children's funds so she doesn't have to work? If she did, it must be a lot! Surprises me she still considers herself a stay at home wife. Oh wait, guess she still is - to Orson. Yuck!

Orson, seems so family oriented. I like the fact that he got Andrew to come home. He seems so genuinely in love with Bree. He does seem so frightened and insecure. Some tragedy has scared the crap out of him. He's found a refuge in Bree's house.

When Rex died, there were several scenes about his insurance, but I don't know if they ever mentioned an amount. And what is it that Susan does that allows her to live that life style?

BOINKING!!!!!!    ROTFLMBO

She writes children's books, but we've seen VERY little of her doing that in the 2 years and 50 episodes this show has aired. I think she got some money from Karl.

Karan - you're welcome for that throw back to another time period term. LOL It just felt right. I think Bree could write a parenting book. I loved how she showed up with 2 suitcases (you knew they were empty) and just told the teacher Danielle was moving in. I love how she thinks. As for the perfect household though, give me the Scavo one anyday (even with the food crumbs, dirty dishes and kids picking their noses) over an immaculate house! But Bree is a treat to watch.

Promo for Sunday that aired on CTV, the channel that carries it in Canada.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3CVduhM6dI

There was a 15-second one during DWTS last night where Lynette discovers Tom has a place for his pizza parlor, and another scene where Gabby confesses to the women she still loves Carlos, and then Lynette, who appears drunk, says "he's hot" while everyone gives her a look.

November 12th episode info and pictures are up:

"Children and Art" - Gabrielle decides to get back into the world of modeling, Lynette is suspicious of her new neighbor and Bree meets her antagonistic mother-in-law, on "Desperate Housewives," SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET)

http://www.abcmedianet.com/ph_search/se ... num=001653

Orson's mother will be played by Delta Burke from "Designing Women"(Marc Cherry was her personal assistant on the show!). Lynette's new neighbor is named Art and is played by Matt Roth(who in real life is married to Laurie Metcalf!), who she will meet during the hostage crisis the week before. Apparently she suspects he's doing bad things to little girls. One of the pictures on Page 2 seems to show that too. It looks like Julie and Austin start to get really close as well. Oh yeah and Mike is back home and still with Edie! We also see Mrs. McCluskey and Ida Greenberg with her cat.

http://abc.go.com/primetime/desperate/index.html

ABC posted a minute and a half clip of Edie/Mike. She explains how he barely noticed her before the hit and run, and then when asked about why she's with him all the time admits she fell in love with him the first time she saw him. Awwwww.

Next week's preview-UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

So Mike does remember Monique, but I'm confused as to how Orson ties into this, and how it ties back to Alma.

Carlos is evil and I love it.

Overall, this was really good. Lynette's smackdown on Nora totally made up for the past few weeks of being annoying as all heck.

It really looks like they are not focusing on Bree as much this season(I guess with regards to Marcia Cross's pregnancy), and putting more emphasis on the characters around her. It was a nice change.

LOL @ some of the lines in tonight's show:

Lynette, on the porch: "I'm a b**** with a capital C."

Bree, at dinner with Orson and the golf buddy, just as a friend walks up: "Oh, they are a regular barrel of -- Tish!"

Hilarious episode!

From the girls on the porch. Biotch with a capital C. LOL To Carlos one-upping Gabby. Watch, she will wind up pregnant, ya know.....;-) To Lynette......my gosh, she is not my favorite DH wife for nothin'!!!!

My very favorite part of last night's show (and yes I had to rewind and watch it again):

"Ding Dong"

Loved it.....
