How did everyone like waking up to the howling winds? Seems this next week is going to be fairly uneventful and nice, well after the winds die down.

Everyone enjoy the great weather this weekend.

The winds here in Fredericksburg had to be gusting close to 40 mph this morning and with the temperatures in the 50's it's pretty chilly out there.

Might get some rain next Wednesday and then some cooler weather to end of next week. Enjoy this weather while you can.

Been a while since anybody posted anything, I guess that's what happens when the weather is quiet.

It looks like the weather will be nice and mild for the next few days and then it looks to be cooler and wetter for the later part of next week.
Halloween looks to be warm before a cold front moves in the evening to cool things off again.

Depending on the timing of the cold front, the kids might start off in short sleeves and then might need a light jacket when they are finished trick-or-treating.

No, not really. Looks 10-15 degrees cooler later in the week with some overrunning rains possible. Nothing dramatic.

Well after our high of 85 today here in Austin ... we plummet tomorrow to a high of 63. Guess we have to call this a strong cold front after all!

Yeah Portastorm, that will feel pretty chilly after the predicted high of 84. I just hope it cools off a little bit before the kids go trick-or-treating.

Perhaps it reached that temp this morning before the front passed thru. I stopped to get gas on my way to work around 9:15 and my car's temp gauge had 72. 10 mins later when I got to work the car temp said 65.

That is interesting, because it is only 43 in Amarillo and the NWS has an afternoon high of 55. It is 2:00 and I don't think it is going to be anywhere near that forcasted high. Maybe this front is a little stronger than first thought.

I just looked and it seems Austin will be having a hard time getting much above 60F for the next few days. A nice start to November is on the way!

I went out for lunch, and it was a bit sweltering. Ugh. Will someone turn the AC down, please.

It is a toasty 84 right now. Hello, I am about to put on my shorts and t-shirts and put away the cold weather gear.
