OK, I'm gonna get BLASTED for this BUT...BRING IT ON 8-)

You can say what you want to about Castro and his regiem however, look at his economic plan(s)....NO ONE goes without health insurance, you want a college education, it's FREE for the asking and NUMEROUS other +'s....I agree, he's a wicked man but his IDEAS are right on track. I studied all of this during my Terrorism and Homeland Security for my Bachelors Degree in criminal justice, I was AMAZED!

Kind of right. But as Milton would say "There's no such thing as a free lunch."

If Castro's regime was democratic, it would be as legitimate as Sweden.

He looks like my father just before he died.

I really think Castro is suffering from cancer and won't live very long anymore.

At first glimpse it looks like he is in good health, but when you hear his voice,it's not clear like it was before July,2006 when his voice was loud and clear.

Indeed, at first glimpse he looks allright, but you can also notice his paleness and his hollow eye sockets and see that he's really sick. It just looks awfully familiar.

Even though I don't agree with all his actions, I hope he doesn't suffer too much. No one should, even dictators like him.

I would change the title since the current one isn't correct in terms of grammer and proper English. Instead of "more stronger" put "stronger".

He still looked pretty bad to me ...

I wonder if this extended passing of his isn't allowing his brother to solidify control in preparation for his eventual death. A few months back, I was fairly skeptical of Raul's ability to maintain control after Fidel's death. Now it's looking far more likely.

Since you said it I don't have to. I agree with everything you said above(just put my dad in for your dad).

We've also got to remember that he's 79 years old...80 in September. Combine his illness and his age and he's bound to look bad.

Can someone explain the Cuban Floridian community to me? How can they plan major celebrations for a death! I mean it is just plain wrong. Even when Saddam was excuted, the response was somber by the west. A death should never be treated in this fashion.

I guess the connections that a lot of that community has to organized crime might explain it. Also, they tend to have violent tendencies. When a decision was made in 1999 that they disagreed with, they caused a major riot in Miami.
