(Note: I blocked out name of the dead character to preserve some of the surprise)

CTU gets hacked.

[spoil]Marilyn reveals a shocking revelation to Jack. ***** IS DEAD. Big shock right? Marilyn tells how he/she died in a car accident in China and Jack is shocked. He is furious and he fears that he/she was murdered by Chinese operatives as he/she attempted to find Jack. Jack goes looking for answers.

Chloe and the others are busy working on finding the drones. CTU knows they are going operational and they are running out of time. CTU initiates satellite coverage and Morris eventually realizes that one of the drones has taken off. The drone is fully armed with a nuke and it’s heading towards some city in the West.

Karen realizes she needs to align herself with Tom Lennox. The two agree that they dislike each other immensely but they both realize they need to work together for the good of the country.

Jack catches up with Buchannan and voices his opinion about ******’s death. Jack swears revenge on those responsible and it’s apparent this will be touched upon later in the season.

Milo is acting shady with Nadia.

The drones target is San Francisco. As they are tracking it, it suddenly vanishes. Nobody knows what has happened… has it crashed? Has it released the nuke? Where is it!!!??? CTU has been hacked and the hacker has made the drone vanish from CTU's systems. Jack must rush to find the hacker and somehow save shaky town from imminent doom.

Nadia will be framed for being the mole, they put her in the interrogating room and...interrogate her. I don't know who the mole really is, if its even a inside person. But I do know it is not Bill, Jack, Chloe, Morris, Milo, Nadia, or Mike.

In other 24-related news, Michael Shanks, from Stargate SG-1, will be joining the cast as a recurring character towards the end of the season. The role is a 4-episode arc

Question: Any scoop on 24?— Jaclyn Z.

Ausiello: A character with the last name Bauer will apparently get whacked around Episode 19, per Entertainment Weekly. Unless Jack has another secret relative out there somewhere, I've identified the candidates as daughter Kim, dad Phillip, sister-in-law Marilyn and "nephew" Josh.

Personally, I 'd be cool with losing all of them.

I would say either Philip or Marilyn

So... are we are ever going to hear about Logan again? It really bothered me tonight that it was not even mentioned, since it's been two weeks. What gives?

For a moment, I thought they were going to kill Palmer too(and Logan would die) meaning all the Presidents ever on this show would be dead.

This is where the show always starts to lose me. The twists and turns really start to become unbelievable - honestly, the beginning of the season's story line always seem plausible. I just find it unbelievable that two seasons in a row we have two VP's and two Presidents on totally opposite ends of the spectrum of good and evil. Didn't they run on the same ticket?

We also had an ex-First Lady who's bonkers that makes a call to the First Lady of Russia in order to convince her husband to allow the US to invade their embassy?

This is where the show always starts to lose me. The twists and turns really start to become unbelievable - honestly, the beginning of the season's story line always seem plausible. I just find it unbelievable that two seasons in a row we have two VP's and two Presidents on totally opposite ends of the spectrum of good and evil. Didn't they run on the same ticket?

I know Martha has remained friends with the Russian First Lady. That I can see happening, particularly what they went through together. I guess that this show gets my head spinning so much after awhile that I just want to throw my hands up and say "UNCLE!!" :lol:
