Re: Countdown to 2008 Atlantic Hurricane Season=143 Days
Bumping the countdown thread as it went way far down.Time is going very fast as those numbers continue to dwindle, and I have a hunch that maybe, maybe something forms before June 1.I base the hunch on the warm anomalies that are present now in most of the Atlantic Basin. (See thread for that)

Wow,almost in March already? If is March,it means the start of the Storm2k 2008 poll,on the 1rst.So prepare and think about how the 2008 season will be in the numbers department.

The new 2008 season is closing in. Here we go again. I am as ready as ever but need to do another trial run on the storm panels. Its been 2 years since the last trial run. Humberto was a Charley in the making. The Houston-Galveston area was safe again but our friend just on the other side of Galveston Bay were hammered again.

This winter has gone fast for me somehow ... must be getting old.
Or maybe because you probably don't get much winter.

Yeah, it seems like only yesterday it was November. Plus Olga and the end-of-year invest kind of shortened the "off-season" a bit.
