Pretty garden-variety cold front down here. Got a couple sprinkles early in the day. The air is not terribly cold, but things are blustery.

Looks to be very warm the next few days here... several days of 80's. Very springlike. I'm looking forward to the next strong cold front.

NWS Miami not very bullish on any significant cool down in...

AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIAMI FL
300 AM EST SUN FEB 3 2008

.DISCUSSION...BY LATE WEDNESDAY
A WEAK COLD FRONT IS
EXPECTED TO DRIFT INTO SOUTH FLORIDA AND STALL
...THE FRONT MAY FINALLY GET A REINFORCING PUSH LATE IN THE WEEK OR EARLY NEXT WEEKEND AS A SHORT WAVE PUSHES ACROSS THE EASTERN STATES PUSHING THE FRONT SOUTH AND EAST,
AND THIS MAY
POSSIBLY ALLOW FOR SLIGHTLY COOLER / NEAR NORMAL CONDITIONS TO
FILTER BACK INTO S FL.

76 on my front porch (actual temp), at least 80-85 on the back patio (southward and sun facing). Summertime wind is here as well. Late springlike. My sister is out tanning on the back patio. lol.

Starting to look a bit springlike....when the central interior of the peninsula is the hot spot during the day because of relative distance from the sea breeze...the opposite holds true at night..the ocean breeze will keep the beaches warmer

currently....mid to high 70's on both coasts, low 80's interior

...DENSE FOG IMPACT...
CLEAR SKIES...LIGHT WINDS...AND SURFACE DEWPOINTS IN THE UPPER 50S TO
LOWER 60S WILL ONCE AGAIN GENERATE AREAS OF FOG OVERNIGHT TONIGHT
INTO EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. LOCALLY DENSE FOG IS POSSIBLE IN MANY
LOCATIONS...ESPECIALLY THOSE AREAS PRONE TO FOG ALONG
RIVERS...LAKES...AND IN LOW-LYING LOCATIONS. THE FOG WILL BE AT
ITS THICKEST GENERALLY BETWEEN 3 AM AND 8 AM. ANYONE EXPECTING TO
TRAVEL DURING THIS PERIOD SHOULD EXPECT POSSIBLE SUDDEN REDUCTIONS
IN VISIBILITY...WITH LOCALIZED VISIBILITIES TO 1/4 MILE OR
LESS...AND SHOULD PLAN ON TAKING EXTRA TIME TO REACH THEIR
DESTINATION. IN ADDITION...DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS THE FOG
WILL BE MORE DIFFICULT TO SPOT BECAUSE OF DARKNESS. THE FOG SHOULD
BURN-OFF BETWEEN 9 AND 10 AM. IF YOU DRIVE INTO AN AREA OF FOG
SLOW DOWN...AND USE YOUR LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHTS.
