Sure, this one case wouldn't hurt them much. But once they fail to enforce their contract one time, this will happen with eveyr case where the injured wins a lawsuit. The family violated the contract. There's no way to recover without suing. Blame the woman's attorney for not doing his job properly.

They may have a hard time with that since they already sued, won, and collected.
