As for the annularity index...like I said sometimes you just have to throw the models out and look with you own two eyes. The model is wrong on this.

I'd call it semi-annular. That should be a new term for those not annular but with some resemblence of such.

It's not fully annular right now but it is becoming annular as far as I can tell. Those rainbands might be gone by tomorrow morning. I hope recon goes into a fully annular Bertha, that would be awesome.

Epsilon was also a weak hurricane when it became annular.

It's not axisymmetrical. It's not annular.

Matter of fact, it's rather elliptical; major axis is W-E.

To be rather honest, I don't see this coming close to annular status.

Well if this is so cut and dry as not being annular to you guys then let's see how it manages to undergo another ewrc. Can someone show me the outer rainbands that are capable of contracting and forcing another ewrc? Not too many rainbands to choose from are there? :lol:
