Looks pretty good to me. Would only add that in about 3 hours time, last night. convection took off. So I expect the same to happen shortly.

Certainly is an ugly system Wx_Warrior but I suppose this is only a TD so we should be looking for nice looking systems really.

however it should be remembered we are heading towards Dmin now and so that may be why the system doesn't look all that great, that plus the mid level dry air still being present.

Looks like its battle with dry air is over. Only some left on the Western side. Maybe alot in mid levels but from the WV loop, clearly shows dry air wont be an issue in 12 hours.

stevetampa33614, that WV loop will not show the mid level dry air which would be fair more extensive, I don't think it will stop strengthening but it does appear likely that it will slow it down somewhat.

THE DEPRESSION IS CURRENTLY ENCOUNTERING NORTHERLY VERTICAL WIND
SHEAR AND DRY AIR ENTRAINMENT...WHICH HAS GIVEN THE SYSTEM A RAGGED
APPEARANCE. THE LARGE-SCALE MODELS FORECAST THE SHEAR TO DIMINISH

Yep njweather the shear is progged to lower which only leaves the dry air as being the main problem for this system doing anything too quickly. I see we've got some TS warnings out as well already.
