I know, through August 15, San Antonio TX has now seen 49 days at 100F or greater this year, continuing to break the record that was 36 days set in 1998. The only day not to hit 100F this month (up to Aug 15) in San Antonio was Aug 13, and it was no bargain at 99F

The same thing that's happening in all of south and south central Texas. Hottest summer ever with Exceptional Drought. The reason Austin and San Antonio aren't having record highs is because record highs are 107-109ish and it's 'only' been 102-105... but unending.

And what's happening in McAllen is unreal. It would be weird to look at a chart of record temps and see "2009" next to almost every date. Seriously crazy.
