The north wobble is probably just that.

We have a tilted cyclone center from SW to NE. WV imagery showed a fairly strong jet streak from the SW.

Yes IMO it looks like shear is quickly taking it's toll on Ida as she enters the GOM. Great news if this

I wouldn't start its dying jim comments yet. IDA did the same thing yesterday only to come back stronger. Shear hasn't increased today at all. I think this is more internal then anything external effecting it. As of now.
