Today, Now
I can't see why it's not already the subject of an "Invest". Strong LLC and lots of convection in the vicinity of 28N/50W as of 9am Saturday. Wind shear drops to quite favorable levels by Sunday. It'll be over quite warm water. All seems "go" for development. GFS suggests a track toward the Bahamas by Tue/Wed then north to the Carolinas around the western edge of the Bermuda High. Looks quite reasonable. I think that should this thing maintain itself for 24 hours that the east coast may be threatened by a hurricane next Thu-Sat. Better stay on your toes over there!

This was a difficult poll. The system was developing, then fell apart and then blossomed into what we see now.
Choosing "Yes" or "No" wasn't too easy, there was potential, then there wasn't and then there was again. Now we have 91L.
