Craig, y'all still have 70% chance of snow/sleet forecasted. Not sure if you'll get that though but that's just my opinion.

11:19pm Edit to add: I take back what i said. Intellicast radar looks to be proving me wrong. Won't be the first time and won't be the last! :D

I'm quite concerned about a non-event even way up here. It's really warm out.

Looking like my original idea of heading up in elevation was a good one.

Mid south still looks to get the brunt of it (snow wise). Very fast moving system, driven by modestly cold air. From the beginning I thought that would be the issue and still on track to be. Bundle up everybody :cold:

Snow was forecast for last night and the radar showed snow.....but nothing hit the ground....snow or rain. We still have snow accumulation from the last storm.

We woke up to just under 1" of snow, this morning. It's already melted off of the secondary
streets. Local mets are saying maybe another 1" for us before this one is done.

I'm ready to plant a garden just any time, now! :cheesy:

Calling bust as well. Not a sleet pellet or flake of snow fell. What is weird is that while the NWS cancelled our WWA our two main news channels were scrolling advisories across the bottom of their 24 hr weather channels after 11 pm last night. They were not doing that before the 10 oclock news broadcast. doesn't matter though we got nothing.

Grabbed these off the Pensacola local tv station website. Something you certainly don't see that often!

I've been watching this timeframe for weeks, this would be a MUCH bigger storm than Friday. Oh and it's a week from tomorrow, not the usual 10-15 days. :P

Interesting that at least some of the models seem to be getting somewhat consistent with bringing something to the south late next week as Brent is indicating.....it will be interesting to see how this pans out......

The GFS has not been consistent lately but the 18z GFS gives credence to another deep south snowfall. Only thing that I find odd, is it does not tap into the gulf, but the cold air seems to be coming in place. Certainly something to watch because its only a week away,

Late next week could see some snow in the south, how far south is the big question and poor mid-Atlantic and NE States as it looks like they are going to get a good one again!
