With the forecast for Earl to strengthen to a major and pass just north of Puerto Rico, we're all very concerned of course for everyone in the islands. Please be careful, I know everyone knows to take the storm seriously. If storm2k friends can do anything let us know. We're all hoping for the best. Thanks for posting obs and news here.

Lots of heavy rain, wind (maybe gusts to 20kt?...not sure) and thunder/lightning! Power went out around 30m ago. I even saw American Airlines takeoff around an hour ago so I guess the airport is still open here.

I didn't get the best of it but I just caught this shot at the end.
