good to see you here quaqualita! Please keep us posted and our thoughts and prayers go out to you and all those there and all the islands that may be affected.

I am back after 25 hours without power and internet. I am safe and dry as in my area in San Juan ,nothing bad occured except for the lack of power that affected more than 500,000 people in the island. Last night heavy showers with winds that I clocked at 36 mph with my anemometer moved thru but no damage occured in my area.In other areas in PR, many trees went down and some electric poles also went down but no flooding event occured as well no fatalitles. In other words PR dodged a big bullet.

Yesterday I drove all the way from the west cost of PR to luquillo East side. took a couple of low Q pics and videos, need a better camera BTW, :( at around MD to 2pm when the center was expected to be the most close. Driving there was easy the problem was that PR government order everybody to go home around MD and then the big traffic jam. At 6 pm I was already at my Hometown. Here in the NW cost of PR last night was amazing. I spent most of the night at a beach facing to the NW and the wind was coming perpendicular to the coast at a good speed I said 40 without an anemometer. Lots of branches down, I drove to a hill side and watched the fireworks from the power lines all around illuminating in blue and green colors. This morning drove to a SW facing beach at Crash boat Aguadilla looking for that clean air perpendicular to the coast and around MD found good waves and gusty wind I have a crapy video and pics that can share but need help for that.

The worst of Earl Past well N of my locations so I can only imagine how bad a direct hit from this could have been.

Sorry for my English.

Luis
glad you are back and OK
we still have parts of st maarten without power.
It was a nasty storm which thankfully passed north of all of us so we didn't get the full brunt.
we all dodged a big bullet.
and now we wait for Fiona tomorrow

Tho no longer living on Provo, I am extremely concerned for my dear friends who are still on Island. Earl, still a 4, should be there in about four hours....my villa is now vacant as my tenants just vacated (lease up.....) which actually is immaterial, but part of my heart remains with my beloved Island.

I pray for the safety of all those in the path of Earl and its wrath.....

Islanders, know we are thinking about you as once again you get hit, now with Fiona. Please let us know how things are going. I know you all must be weary by now. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Hope everyone still has their supplies left and shutters on! Even though Fiona shouldn't become a hurricane, you never know! Praying still!

I haven't heard of ANY fatalities with Earl - great job everyone with their preparations!

Immense Sigh of relief.....have heard from my beloved friends in Provo and all fared well through Earl.

Now the tables are turning and it's time for me to get my act in gear in preparation for Earl's approach....
