The snow just picked up again. Visibility is about 3/4 to 1/2 a mile. It's getting hard to tell where the sidewalks and grass are. Pretty good amount on the ground.

Well guy's it looks like most of us got what we wanted (snow) I havent been a member very long but I must say the last 2 weeks have been eventful and fun. Other than the fact of not getting much sleep cause I am up all night looking at models. I must say that I am addicted to this. There are some smart people in here and everyone is very helpful. I hope everyone has a fantastic day and Portastorm I cant wait to see what this next system does in 10 days or so. :D

If the thermometer is exposed to the elements it might show that, but probably closer to 30-33

You know if I can criticize the weather service for last year, I can give them plenty of props for this year. They did an outstanding job calling this, almost down to the tee since Friday. Excellent communication from Fort Worth office. :D This was an extremely difficult event to call and they called it well.

Temp in Frisco on my weather station is 31.4, thermometer is under the porch, so that should be pretty accurate. Small snow drifts starting to form, looks like 2 inches thus far. Neighborhood streets are completely white and slushy. But no problem driving on them.

I remember last winter's 10-12" snowfall and how heavy it was. As I recall, when it melted it was almost 3" in my rain gauge. That's about 20 lbs/sq ft. It's a wonder more roofs didn't collapse.

I had a motorcycle outdoors under a cover. The weight of the snow bent one of the mirrors;.

Where do I claim my prize?

Yeah, I think just south of me might have more. It's still coming down at the same rate as before.
