Poor guy.
having been put through this scenario so many times, the bite isnt really that bad anymore. And, having you get screwed over more than me also helps this sting a little bit too

Dallas gets busted our share of times. Take this weekend for example, which can be considered a moderate bust for DFW after the predictions of 2-5" saturday.

Heh, heh ... yes indeed. Well played sir, well played!
But txagwxman (in Tomball) suggested yesterday that he was the biggest victim. I just whine about it the most, I guess.

We got 2" and I suspect it'll be on the ground all day since the high is 32 and it'll be cloudy. It'll probably melt on the rooftops though. Kids out here have school today. Good thing we got out yesterday to do some sledding.
Heck we got close to 4 inches here in Frisco, streets still mostly iced over in the neighborhood and Frisco ISD only got a delay, Plano ISD went on as normal with a reported 3 inches on the ground.

We got about 5 inches, and McKinney ISD canceled school for the day. I thought they would just delay it because that's how they usually roll. Guess someone really wanted to play in the snow today.

We did not get anything out here in fort worth. Some flakes, but nothing stuck. I am not sure if it is worse not getting any, when every one around you does, or being over a 100 miles away, and knowing you are out of the game! Seeing all the snow pictures on facebook and on here have been killer! We were this close. hahaha.

I've been there too Dustan, two or three years ago it snowed 8 inches in Denton and went all the way down to just east of central expy. By the time it got to Wylie, where I live then, just a cold rain. Snowed for 10 minutes and passed on into rain again. I wasn't a happy camper, lol.

I remember that storm, it was in March. I think that is the one you are referring to. It was crazy. There was actually thunder and lightning with it. It snowed so heavy that day. It normally took me 25min to get home, that day it took almost two hours!!!!!

12z Canadian says Portastorm may have a freezing drizzle "event" this week. Man, things are bad when I'm banking my hopes on the Canadian.

The Canadian was the only model to pick up on the major nor'easter that will slam the NE U.S. this Tue night/Wed. GFS and Euro just drove the storm center out to sea after moving off the SC coast.

Hey,hey, hey...do not talk about the crazy Uncle. One day, he might be right. Why does he show up to the reunions drunk? Who knows? Why does he mutter to himself? Who knows? We all love him though.....

I was going to say that the Canadian has done rather well of late with the pattern.

You guys know how to make a fella happy!

12z Euro seems to have "some" support for this as well ... eh, I'm probably grasping at straws but it looks like the only hope my area has for winter weather in the next 7 days.

Plano seldom closes. They are just to big and the schedules are already staggered, so a delay does them no good. Allen has a fraction of the schools Plano has and I saw first hand what the result of their delay was. Almost an hour to get my kid to high school. She only goes a half day (senior with a short day) Ugh!!!
