60% means a few storms anymore. We need gully washer type storms.

Well, better than the 10-20% (If that) you have been getting...And you guys dont get much TC action do you? Youll need a TS to kinda scoot its way up there...like fay. Fay would be nice right now for the State.

Big storms over rural St. Lucie and Martin Counties. They drifted west then east, fizzling out before I-95 and keeping the populated areas dry.

Same here. TOTAL of less than 2/10 inch all month long. Wind blew last night, thunder then..............like 10 drops. Fizzled out. Today nada. My yard is cooking big time, and my shadehouses of exotics are suffering. I have lived here 24 years and never seen it so sunny, so hot, so dry. I mean, every day here has been almost completely sunny along the coast. So much for the rainy season!

I feel bad for you in the immediate coastal areas that keep getting missed on the rains, while me here in the Orlando area & surrounding areas keep getting drenched.

All week the TV weather folks had been telling us we would get some decent rain this week...........well.....it didn't pan out for us in Jackson County. Crestview got 4" from a thunderstorm yesterday ..........and we got............0.08........that was our best shot for rain this week.

Not sure if/when the weather pattern will change and we can get some much needed rain.............

even with the rain yesterday, our KBDI went up.

it's going to take a lot of rain to get us out of this drought.

Got quite a bit of rain last night and tonight it's been pouring for the last hour straight. Won't have to worry about topping off the pond :-)

i keep missing the rain. there's a fairly small area of northern pinellas into pasco that has had very little rain thus far. interestingly enough this is the very same area that got the heaviest rain back in march. nature does balance things out. we'll spin the wheel again tomorrow and see what happens. one thing is certain... the real rainy season has (finally) arrived.

FINALLY received good rain this AM...a little over 7/10 inch from a nice storm. Missed all of it yesterday but for 5 mins worth, and not heavy. This is our ONLY decent rain of June. The other few tmes it has rained have been 1/10 or so...and less. More on the way? It is hazy, humid and overcast today. A little heating and BOOM? My yard is begging for it!

Not.

This is getting absolutely ridiculous. Port Saint Lucie didn't receive a drop of rain today, whereas everyone else in the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast did.

Here in coastal New Port Richey, we did get a storm this morning, giving us 7/10 inch...but there have been big storms all around, in Tampa, Clearwater, just north, just east inland. A friend in N Tampa emptied her pool today. I mean, I'm thankful for small favors but I feel ya AdamFirst. Sometimes it seems like you are cursed!
